Crowborugh Common Crowborough Common is the largest public recreation space within the town boundary and is ideal for ramblers and dog walkers. The common forms the south-west face of Crowborough's hill and offers some superb views to the South Downs. The public are free to roam all 220 acres. At its south-west tip there is a short public footpath that links the common to the Crow and Gate pub for those seeking refreshment.
