The Herne Road Allotment site is adjacent to the cemetery and consists of 60 plots bordered by Herne Road and Fermor Way.  The site is supplied with water and green waste disposal facilities but there is no car park.  Herne has its own allotment association known as HATS (Herne Allotment Tenants Society) which plot holders are encouraged to join.  There is a 1 to 2 year waiting list for a plot at this site.

Allotment rent:- £27 per annum (1st April 2012 - 31st March 2013)
