TOWN CLERK – Caroline Miles
Overall management of the running of the Town Council’s business
Guides the Town Council on policy, legal and procedural issues
Manages Town Council staff and external contractors
Responsible for agendas and minutes for meetings of the Council and its committees, and for the preparation of reports
Working Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday
DEPUTY TOWN CLERK – Melanie Street
To support the Town Clerk in the running of the Town Council's business
To manage the Council's cemeteries
To manage the Council's allotment sites
Working Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 9am-5pm
RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER – Karen Whiley
Responsible for ensuring that the Council complies with current financial legislation
Responsible for the preparation of the Budget and the Precept request
Keeps the Council’s accounts and prepares records for audit and VAT purposes
Working Hours: 2 days per week (days vary)
OPERATIONS MANAGER – Peter Cunnington
Responsible for the operational management of the council’s buildings, recreation grounds, allotments, cemeteries and other open spaces
Responsible for the management of the external workforce
Responsible for planned maintenance work for all the council premises. To respond to urgent issues involving council premises
Responsible for health and safety inspections and annual servicing of equipment and ensuring all statutory elements of health and safety are complied with.
Responsible for ensuring the council’s vehicles, plant, yard and equipment are kept in good working condition
Working Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday
FACILITIES OFFICER – Lisa Gibson
Deals with the upkeep of the council’s premises and equipment.
Organises planned and impromptu maintenance of council premises and equipment.
Provides administrative support to the Operations Manager.
Working Hours - Full Time - Monday - Friday
FINANCE OFFICER – Zoe-Marie Rabson-Alves
Daily administration of the Council’s finances.
Administration of supplier’s invoices, processing the bacs for payment, raising invoices, entering receipts, bank reconciliation.
Bookings Officer for Council facilities.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4:30pm

EVENTS MANAGER – Mia Kelly
Organises and manages the council's events
Working hours Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4.30pm
MEETINGS ADMINISTRATOR – Vacancy
To produce agendas and minutes for the Planning & Development Committee.
To provide administrative support to other council groups and committees as required.
To maintain the Council's Schedule of Resolutions
Working Hours: Monday and Tuesday 9.00am to 12.30pm
Wednesday 9:00am to 5pm
In addition, the Council also employs:
HEAD GROUNDS PERSON - who manages/leads the grounds team on a daily basis.
GROUND STAFF AND RANGER – who carry out the daily operations tasks around the town and keep the Council’s grounds and nature reserves looking fantastic
ENVIRONMENT WARDEN – who helps to keep the town clean and litter-free
CARETAKER – who takes care of some council buildings
