Poster Board Hire
The Town Council owns a number of poster boards throughout the town. When the boards are not being used by the Town Council they are available for hire by local groups and organisations. So why not think about this cost-effective way of advertising for your club or society’s next event?
Hire charges for the poster boards are reviewed annually by the Council. Charges for the period 1st April 2023-31st March 2024 are as follows:
A1 size boards – £7.20 (inc. VAT) per board, per week
Extra-large boards – £14.40 (inc. VAT) per board, per week

There are fourteen boards which can accommodate A1 size posters. These are positioned at the following locations:
- Alderbrook Playing Field (outside)
- Chapel Green
- Clokes Corner
- Elim Court Gardens
- Ghyll Road
- Goldsmiths Leisure Centre Entrance (right hand side)
- Harecombe Road/Whitehill Road
- Jarivs Brook Railway Station
- Jarivs Brook Car Park (outside)
- Jarvis Brook Memorial Hall (outside)
- Montargis Way/Crowborough Hill
- Piazza (town centre)
- Queens Road/Whitehill Road
- Pine Grove
In addition there are two extra-large boards which can accommodate posters up to 164cms high and 84cms wide. They are positioned on the A26 at either end of the town as follows:
